Calling Dr. Jaxon...

In school yesterday Diggy learned about Doctors. They have been learning all about the body and how everything works. He has been so excited to go to school lately. He is so fasinated with all of this. I picked him up from school and he told me not to touch him because his backpack was full of "VERY IIMPORTANT THINGS"!! I was so curious to see what it was! When we got home he showed me is doctors bag and everything in it. He couldnt wait to get all geared up and see his first patient!!
He made a hat, got a mask, tongue depresser, gloves, "ticker listener" as jax calls it, Shot syringe, and a cotton ball to dab the blood after the shot.

Dr. Jaxon ready to practice on his first patient who is non other then.....
Ryker!! Poor patient he didnt really know what he was getting himself into!!

"The checkup" Ryker was diagnosed "very sick" He had about 200 hundred shots through out the day and had his "ticker" checked at least that many. Dr. Jaxon also looked into his mouth. But only once so his tongue depresser didnt get "all slobbery". Ryker was such a good patient. They played FOR HOURS. Ryker just did whatever the Dr. told him to do! I was the nurse. I was told "all you really need to do is cook chicken nuggets and snacks for the Dr. and Ryke". I guess thats what nurses do when the are moms too!!
Jax also said "I really wish I would have taken this stuff to Grannys house, I am sure I could have gotten that scar off her leg." Watch out Mom it looks like you may have to be seen by another Doctor!!

For a bit of really good news. My Mom is down to one crutch now and start putting weight gradually on her left leg!! She is also able to drive!! She is doing sooo good. You shouldnt be able to do any of this for six to eight weeks!! We love you Granny!!

Ropin on a windy day...

Okay so I had to get another bad word in on all the wind. I am sick of it and maybe the more I complain it will go away!! :) Willie and Bill (his dad) were out roping the other day and I got some good pictures! The kids LOVE to go and watch. Everyday they ask me if "Dad is ropin tonight". Even though Will barely shows any emotions ever I know he loves it too!
Bill let Jaxon run the chutes the last few times that the boys have gone. He has his "cow hitting stick" That he taps the steers with so they will move up into the chute. Then he waits for Bill to give him the signal and he opens the chute so the steers can come out. It is motorized so he just has to hit a button. He loves it. I wanted to get some really good pictures of this because it was really really cute. The fact that Jaxon wasnt too scared to do it was a small miracle!! However when I went over to get some pictures I was informed by my five year old that I obviously didnt understand how important his job was. He didnt have time for pictures and he didnt want me taking any. He was way too busy and he didnt want the camera to make the cows mad!!:( He is so cute!! I did get a few but they werent as good as I would have liked!!

While Diggy was busy running the chutes. Ryker was climbing fences and getting into all the trouble he could find. Which is typical. That child keeps me on my toes at all times!! I love the picture of him on the fence it is so stinking cute!!

Willie trying to get Ryker of Raper. Its a long process. It took a total of almost thirty minutes to get him off!! He loves to ride!!

Thanks Bill for letting us come out and rope! The boys have had so much fun!

Jumping Jaxon and Rykers!!

Will and I took the kids to Jumping Jacks on Wednesday. We had to do an indoor activity since the wind has been blowing like a freakin tornado for two weeks now!! Its getting really old!! However on the bright side we had a really good time at Jumping Jacks. The boys played for over two hours! They were totally worn out by the time we went home!Ryker climbing the BIG slide! I tried to get Jaxon but he was too fast and I was struggling with the camera!! Ryke looked so small climbing up there! That child is fearless though and headed straight for it!! Jax had gone up and down twice by the time Ryke made it to the top!!Jax and Ryker coming down together! Jax really wanted a picture of them together. However you can see by Rykers face that he was not so fond of that idea!!
Willie and the boys! It is one of the funner things at Jumping Jacks is that parents can slide too! It really is a good workout!! Too bad no photos of me!! :)

Jaxon slithering off the slide!

Ryker he is so hard to get a good picture of!! OH WELL!

Brothers! Ryker was very afraid that he was going to smash into me. He is lecturing me right here on standing to close to the slide!

Cute boys! I love them!
Just chillin at the top!

So during our two hour visit they turned off the lights and lit the strobe lights and had a little dance party! Jaxon was doing some major breakdancing! It was hilarious! This picture doesnt do it justice! Ryker had nothing to do with it. He just wanted to slide and was just fine with sliding in the dark!
This is seriously a fun place to take the kids and wear them clear out when the weather is being retarted!

chasing the ice cream truck...

Since we have moved to this house the boys live outside and almost every friday and saturday Jaxon comes in the house and makes a mad dash out the front to catch the ice cream truck. It plays music and Jaxon can seriously here it a mile away. Normallly for some reason I tell him we dont need any ice cream today. I dont know why? I mean really what is the big deal if they have a little treat? Finally I broke down and let them get an ice cream. They loved it. It was really the cutest thing to watch Jaxon stand in the street and wave the ice cream truck over. He was so afraid it would not stop!! It did however and they got there ice cream!!Jaxon and Ryker both chose Spongebob. Suprise!
Jaxon with his treat. He had all ready eaten off the gumball eyes!!

Ryker, he doesnt sit still long enough to get a good picture. I took seven and this was the best I got!!
Again Ryker looks sorta nerdy but you get the point!! They were so happy! I must say they were pretty tasty. We may just get another one next Saturday!!

Shake that new hip Mama!!

My mom had her left hip replaced on the 9th of march. She has had really bad arthritis in her hip for awhile now so they decided it was out with the old and in with the new!! She had her surgery done in Cedar which i was glad for because I got to go down and visit her! I took my camera to get some pictures. However I didnt take any.I dont think she would have wanted me too! She looked really good however and was walking so good! I was so worried to have her do surgery. Hip surgery doesnt have the most fond memories for me. I was a mess all Sunday and Monday until my Dad called to say she was out of surgery and had done really well! She went home that Thursday and boy was she ready!! The day she got home she sounded so good on the phone and has sounded even better everyday since! I cant wait to go and see her! Jaxon too is very curious to what went on. He thinks that she has a "fake leg" now that she takes on and off at night! I tried to explain what had gone on and that she could walk. He doesnt think I am right however!!
We are so glad that you are doing so good Mom/Granny! We love you so much! Thanks for all you do for us and for loving my kids the way only a Granny can do!! Your really are the best Mom! I love you!!

Spring has Sprung!!

The weather has finally gotten warm and stayed warm!! I am so glad! Willie had me and the boys out doing yard work yesterday. It is only my least favorite thing to do in the whole entire world. However the weather was so nice. I didnt fight (much) about going out and weeding! Our new yard is huge. Which means we get alot of weeds. We got them mostly taken care of and then Will and the boys went to work on the sprinklers since most of them were broken. Once Willie turned them on to see which ones needed to be fixed the boys stripped down to there shorts and shoes. I wasnt too fond of them wearing there shoes. Oh well. But anyways, they ended up running through the sprinklers for a good hour. Mind you its only 70 degrees but they loved it.Ryker and Will fixing the sprinkler
Jaxon pushing the four wheeler! doesnt he look so cute with his shirt off pushing the four wheeler!!

This is his Hulk stance!! He thought he was so cool!!

Ryker running through the sprinklers!

Karate (dont ask)

Ryker wasnt too sure about the water at first! I love that face!!

Fun filled week!!

March 7-14 We were so lucky to have my sister (in law) I hate the in law part) Timarees kids come and stay with us. They were having there Spring Break and I begged Timar to let them come and stay with me for the week. They live in Arizona and we dont get to see them enough. Jaxon and Ryker loved having them here. The weather was so nice. With nice weather when you are a Nikolaus it means softball/baseball. 24/7! We sleep baseball, eat baseball, and play baseball all day long! For those of you that know me. You know I am a little challenged in the sports area, I try to fake it unfortunately I am not too good at it. So I became the photographer! Which worked just fine for me!!This is Morgan, she was the Coach. She was doing drills with the kids. Morgan is up front. L to R Breckyn,( I love how she was looking at me under her legs) Keegan, Ryker, Jaxon. They had to do there stretches first!!Jumping Jacks. Morgan is the pitcher on her team. She is really good. I was so glad that she would practice with the younger kids. She was such a big help. I dont know what I would have done without her this week!Jaxon and Keegan Playing catch at Maggies tournie. The whole week was baseball related!!
Keegan, he was so patient with Jaxon and Ryker. He told me the reason why is because he is so good at baseball, and he really likes to help people so they can be as good as he is!!

Breckyn this girl had me laughing all week long!

We were so glad the have them here that week. It went way too fast however. I cried the on the way home after we dropped them off! I missed them all ready!! Thanks Timar for letting me have them for the week. You seriously have the best kids!! I love them all so much!!
