Someday!!

Life has been really hectic for this set of Nikolaus' . We are still alive just super busy!! We sent Willies brother Kinney off on his mission a week ago today.( We miss him like crazy. But the good news is with all the hectic madness that has been going on it has helped keep the tears from washing us away. That doesnt mean we cant get out the boat and float in them!! ) We Had two trips to Arzona and two trips to Monroe plus a move all in the month of January!! We will be in our new house hopefully all the way by tomorrow!! Bad news is no internet for 5 days! But I promise when we have it hooked up there will be pictures of the new house and an update!! Till then this lame post of no pictures will have to do!!

A day on the farm.

I really dont know if this is considered a farm or what it is exactly. A farm to me means dairy cows and a milk barn. BUT... we all headed out to what for this post i am going to call Papa Bills farm ( Wills Dad) during the holiday break while everyone was still here and did some roping and riding.Bill, Jaxon, Ali, Maggie shae and Ryker leading Jazzy.

I asked him if he wanted to ride and he kept telling me he was still thinking about it. Finally right before we left he decided he would go. BUT ONLY if Papa Bill would take him and "drive" really slow.

The cousins. Keegan, Brecky,Ryker,Morgan, Ali and Jax. They are standing by some big cement thing that had water in the bottom that they swore was at least a million feet deep, with alligators in the bottom. They entertained themselves almost half the time we were there by throwing rocks and stick into the water!!


Ryker riding with Uncle Troy. Ryker LOVED Troy. Infact on the horse ride Ryker told Troy that he was his best friend. When Troy and the family went to leave Ryker got his boots on and was headed home with him! He seriously cried for a good 20 minutes over the fact that Troy left and Ryker was still at home!! He has talked about him for weeks now! We do miss them though and cant wait till we can all get together again!!!

Papa Bill made our family and Troy and Timars family roping dummies. This one is the Atkinsons that Ryker is roping on. Our is still in the front room of our house and is by far the most popular gift of the season.

My little cowboy! Doesnt he look so cute in his new boots from Papa Bill and his rope. Jaxon has gotten really good at roping the dummie. He has also tried endlessly to rope me. That I can say is getting really annoying. Thanks to Willie for teaching him that!

How cute are they?

I thought these picures were priceless. Jaxon is IN LOVE with the guitar. He wants to play it everyday and not just strum the strings, he really wants to be able to play songs. He does his best. Which lets be honest is no that good. Since I know nothing about guitar playing. I cant really help. But Ryker thinks he is an awesome player. He got out Willies pocket hymn book that he had on his mission and was singing I am a Child of God, Little house in the middle of the woods, and another blend of like three or four songs that he learned in nursery. While Jax played him the tune. They had just woken up like 30 minutes earlier so please dont mind the way they look!!

Jaxon is so patient with Ryker .I love these two boys!!Yes those are cowboy boots that Ryker is wearing with his cut off tshirt and warm up pants that he had worn to bed that night. He only takes those darn boots off for bed everynight. Only because I make him. They are on again by the time he comes out of his room in the morning!!

A little slow!

So the header on my blog is still Christmas I am sorry. But I cant find my Krusti to fix it and heaven knows its too complicated for me!! Lets all just pretend like it matches!!

Our Christmas suprise!!

Our best Christmas present this year was getting to suprise the family with Chey Chey Mikell. Chey has been in Hondurus volunteering at an orphange since August. It was the longest five months of my life. She decided that she wanted to come home for Christmas since it was Kinneys last christmas befor the mission and alot of the family would be there. Well actually everyone was there but Tracy and her family. We decided that it would be fun to suprise the family and not tell them that she was coming home. She was scheduled to fly home on the 5 of January. Willie and I changed her flight to fly home on the 22 of December. Suprisingly we were able to keep the secret for over a month!! We didnt even tell the boys who we were picking up from the airport till we got there!! Jax was so happy that we were going to get her. Of course when we got to the airport he flight had been delayed and ended up not getting there till midnight. It was suppose to come in at nine fifty. It was so worth the wait though!! Jaxon and Ryker with the signs that they colored for Chey Chey. I wrote them and they colored them in. Well Jax did Ryke just colored all over it. They both turned out really cute!!

All the signs we made. It was the cutest thing when we finally saw Chey, Jax dropped his sign and just went running to her she picked him up into a gaint hug!! The boys also fought over who she got to sit by on the way home poor Chey ended up sitting in the middle of them for the hour and a half drive home!! We were so glad to have here home!!

Christmas Eve we suprised the family. Yes we kept her hiddin at our house for two days! Avoiding everyone so that Jaxon wouldnt spill the beans!! Which I know he would of. He was so happy to have her home!! On Christmas eve I put all the family on the couch and told them I was making a video for Chey and Had them say Merry Christmas Chey. Then sing we wish you a Merry Christmas. During the song she walked in. The suprise was awesome! A few swear words in suprise(Timar) and Cindy telling me she hated me!! But oh it was so worth it!

Day after Christmas fun!!!

Ryker got a new four wheeler for christmas. Willie had the 26 off work so we took the boys out to ride at washington dam. Jax was really excited to have a riding buddy and the rode till they couldnt ride anymore!Jaxon and Ryker riding there wheelers
Ryker and his new four wheeler. He wasnt too impressed with it Christmas morning. He just wanted to play with his toys. I was thinking maybe it was a bad idea till we took him out to ride it. He has so much fun and just took off as soon as we had it started!!

Jaxon spinning circles. He has gotten to be a good little rider. I had so much fun watching him ride around and try new things. He was so timid last year when he got it. He has came along way!!

Willie didnt adjust the speed very good when Ryker first started out. It was so funny to watch him chase after and try to catch Ryker so he could turn the speed down. Ryke was hauling and he thought it was so fun. He never even ran into anything!! I was scared to death with how fast he would go and willie spend a good amount of time chasing him.

The boys had so much fun riding. I cant wait till we go out again!!

Food for the Reindeer

Maggie helped the boys make food for Santa reindeer. I think it consisted of oatmeal and some sprinkles!! They sure ate it right up though. We couldnt find any left in the morning!!

Making cookies for Santa

Grandma Lucinda Maurice helps the grandkids make sugar cookies every year for Santa. She is so patient with the kids all this mess and she never even thinks twice about it!! I am glad she love to do it!!

Christmas

We had a really good Christmas this year. We went to Willies moms like we do every year. She just lives here in town. Willies Sister Timaree and her family came down from Arizona it was really fun to have them here! Willies brother Brant and his family also came down from Minnesota for Christmas. Willies other Brother Bo and his family were here until Christmas eve and then left for home so that Bo could work. It was really fun to have so much family here. It is Kinneys last Christmas home for two years. He leaves for his mission in Mexico this month.:(

Sometimes Ryker has a bit of a mean streak and Jax would pray everynight that he would start being good so he could get some presents from santa. I guess it worked!
